Lord Jonathan Peter Marland, Chairman of CWEIC is in Cameroon since Sunday, 09 October 2022.

 

The high-profile guest who is leading a large delegation of British investors to Cameroon was invited to Cameroon by the Prime Minister, Head of Government. He was received at the Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport by the Prime Minister's Chief of Staff; Dr. Diane Acha-Morfaw, Chairperson of the Investment Promotion Agency (IPA); and Mr. Auguste MBAPPE PENDA, General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC).

 

Lord Jonathan Peter Marland's working visit to Cameroon effectively started on Monday, 10 October 2022, and included an audience with the Prime Minister, Head of Government, followed by a series of meetings with several heads of ministerial departments. An audience is also scheduled for Tuesday, October 11 at the Presidency of the Republic.

 

The delegation of British investors will be in Douala on Wednesday, October 12, where they will meet with the General Managers of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council and the Port Authority of Douala. Of particular interest to the CNSC will be their visit to the Douala Maritime Museum and the Dibamba Trucker Accommodation Centre.
