SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC-Cameroon) in partnership with the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) is organising a training seminar on INCOTERMS 2020. The seminar which is taking place at the Douala Maritime Museum started today, Tuesday, 25 October 2020.

 

Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council and Chairman of the ICC Cameroon International Trade Commission, presided over the opening ceremony of the seminar.

 

This INCOTERMS 2020 training seminar hosted at the Douala Maritime Museum was delivered by Mr. Jean Louis Boya, ICC Cameroon's accredited consultant, and specifically aims to enable participants to:

 

- Better assess potential risks related to international trade practices;

- Efficiently negotiate terms for the delivery of goods worldwide;

- Understand modalities used for the sharing of costs and risks between buyers and sellers in the logistic chain for import/export operation;

- Master how to use Incoterms 2020.

 

Public and private companies such as PAK, ADC, CHOCOCAM, BROLI, CBC, Afriland first bank and SME Bank were among the key participants of this training seminar which will end on Thursday, 27 October 2022.
