The new logistics platform will be inaugurated today

The new logistics platform operated by Bolloré Transport and Logistics in the Kribi industrial port area will be inaugurated today. The seven-hectare infrastructure will improve traffic flow in the corridors and help develop the industrial port area. Agricultural exports such as cotton and cocoa shall equally be loaded there. Kribi logistics hub is entirely built by Cameroonian SMEs. Equipped with modern infrastructure and equipment, this hub contributes to the economic development of Cameroon and the states of the Central African sub-region. The multimodal nature of the hub offers logistics services that meet the specific needs of the sub region's growing economy.

The Kribi Logistics Hub which will be inaugurated today has waiting zones for the unloading of trucks, thus enabling it to work day and night. As for security and QHSE standards, they were already taken into account during the construction of the site in order to guarantee the quality of products such as cotton, cocoa and sesame. The port of Kribi, with the opening of its new logistics area, stands out as the new leading port in the Cemac zone as it now offers the business community of the Gulf of Guinea a modern port infrastructure that can harbour new generation trans-oceanic cargo ships. Besides being a vector of growth, the port seeks to contribute in the creation of an efficient industrial zone and, above all, to constitute a logistical base for importers and exporters.
