CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

In a bid to encourage shippers/consignees to meet up with their obligations vis-à-vis the transportation of their goods, on 27 April 2022, the Container Terminal Management published Notice No. 0013/DEX/DD/RTC of 21 April 2022 relating to commercial discounts granted to shippers / consignees for the 2022 financial year.
These discounts are mainly granted to importers and shippers, based on the accumulation of their annual transactions at the Container Terminal of the Port of Douala for the year 2022.

Established on the basis of fragments of container volumes realised in 2022, either by importers, exporters or a group of shippers known to RTC, the said discounts shall apply only to shore handling services (stevedoring and lifting) and shall only consider invoices fully paid by 31 December 2022.

The said discounts will be communicated by credit note to beneficiaries, for payment of their invoices in 2023. For further information, please contact: rtcbillingcenterf@rtcdouala.cm or 657 10 57 18

Find the full table of applicable discounts on the official notice.
