CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The Minister of External Relations, H.E. Lejeune Mbella Bella, officially launched the Cameroon Economic and Cultural Week in The Hague on 10 May 2022.

The Cameroon National Shippers’ Council was represented at the event by a delegation led by its General Manager, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda. This event brings together private and public sector companies from Cameroon, municipal authorities and parliamentarians who will hold B2B and B2G discussions with their Dutch counterparts on ways and means of strengthening and fostering economic, financial and cultural ties between both countries.

This important event has three major objectives and mainly seeks to strengthen bilateral relations between both countries through win-win partnerships, reintegrate Cameroon into the list of focus countries eligible for the Dutch Development Fund and reinforce diplomatic relations.

Since 2020, the Netherlands has become Cameroon's 3rd largest export destination and ranks 8th in terms of imports.
