On 5 February 2026, staff of the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC) expressed best wishes for the New Year to Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda and Mr. Younouss Soungui, CNSC's General Manager and Deputy General Manager respectively, in a ceremony held at Club PAD in Bonanjo.
Besides the CNSC staff, Mr. Abdourahamane Abba Kafougou, Secretary General of the Union of African Shippers’ Council (UASC) and representatives of the Central African and Chadian shippers’ councils based in Douala attended the event. The guests, together with CNSC staff, all partook of the meal offered by CNSC’s Management in a festive ambience.
The event also featured the installation of the newly elected Staff Representatives into office, in accordance with regulations in force under the chairmanship of Mr. Daniel Maphouer, Labour Administrator and Inspector No. 6 at the Littoral Regional Labour Inspectorate.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda urged staff to be disciplined and committed at work. He further reminded them of the challenges ahead and called on all to be more responsible. Mrs. Sarah Banini and Mr. Georges Eteta’a, both retired, were honoured for their service while at the CNSC.
