This year’s activities for “Blue November”, the month dedicated to the fight against male cancers, specifically prostate cancer, featured an awareness-raising campaign jointly organised by the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC) and Centre Médico-Chirurgicale “Le Berceau” (CMCB) on 27 November 2025 at the multipurpose conference hall of the Douala Maritime Museum. During the event, participants learned about the risks, the importance of early diagnosis and lifestyle choices to help fight these diseases.
CNSC Staff in attendance were informed, schooled and advised by Dr. Anselme le Grand Mang, a general practitioner specialised in occupational health and safety at the CMBC.
This activity, themed “Diagnosis, the act that saves”, marked the awareness session, to be followed by a fitness walk slated for 30 November 2025 at the Douala Parcours Vita.
