With effect from 1 August 2022, any cargo coming from or bound for Cameroon must be covered by the Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN). This new measure concerns shippers, transporters and other persons doing business across Cameroon's southern border.

A few days to the implementation of this measure, the General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, travelled to Abang Minko'o today, 30 July, along with his collaborators working in the South Region. The aim of the visit was to sensitize actors of cross-border trade in that part of Cameroon.

This working visit is taking place on the sidelines of CNSC's active participation in the 13th edition of the Annual Central African Cross-Border Trade Fair (FOTRAC) holding in the border town of Kye-Ossi from 28 July to 6 August 2022.
