The General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) hereby informs shippers (importers and exporters), freight forwarders, Licensed Customs Brokers, airlines, as well as public administrations and companies involved in the transport and clearance of air freight in Cameroon, that the CNSC’s Transport Observatory has launched an investigative study into “bureaucratic bottlenecks and irregular practices in the clearance process for air freight bound for or leaving Cameroon".
This survey, which will be conducted at the cargo terminals of the Douala and Yaoundé-Nsimalen international airports, aims to identify the various obstacles and irregular practices encountered by shippers, and to propose concrete measures to improve the smooth flow of air cargo clearance operations.
The relevant stakeholders are invited to participate actively in this survey, which will take place from 6 to 31 October 2026.
Should you require additional information, please contact the CNSC through the following numbers: (+237) 670 20 59 96/(+237) 697 90 42 59/ or by e-mail at h.ngassa@cncc-cm.org.
