CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) hereby informs Cameroonian women entrepreneurs actively engaged in value-added processing that a call for applications has been launched for participation in the “African Women in Processing" (AWIP) Forum.

This forum is organised by the African Union Commission and will run alongside the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025) scheduled to take place in Algiers (Algeria) from 4 to 10 September 2025. Its main objective is to enhance the visibility, market access, networking, and technical capabilities of African women entrepreneurs.

The AWIP Forum is a strategic continental platform that particularly seeks to:

  • Promote market access for women-led businesses;
  • Facilitate connections with investors and partners;
  • Build capacities through training on export readiness under the AfCFTA, product quality and branding;
  • Showcase value-added products manufactured by women.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be African women entrepreneurs with established businesses in processing and value addition;
  • Demonstrate business maturity and growth potential;
  • Be proficient in French or English;
  • Demonstrate the willingness to network, collaborate, and share best practices with other women entrepreneurs.

Participation expenses for selected applicants will be catered for and complemented with active participation in panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions, business-to-business (B2B) and networking sessions.

Applications are open until 10 June 2025 at midnight via the link: https://awip.aiw.africa.
