CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC) hereby informs shippers and business persons that in application of the provisions of Article 149 (5) of the General Tax Code, some inspection and identification fees paid via the Single Window for Foreign Trade Operations (GUCE) platform will henceforth include the Value Added Tax (VAT).

 

Effective since 1 July 2025, the following fees now include VAT: the Import Verification Tax, the Export Verification Tax, Inspection fees for the Identification of Vehicles Imported into Cameroon (CIVIC) and the Phytosanitary inspection fee.  These fees are paid automatically including VAT via the GUCE platform.
