On Tuesday, 28 July 2026, the General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC), Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, chaired the ceremony to officially launch the consultation meeting for the drafting of CNSC’s 2040 Development Master Plan. This meeting took place at the institution’s head office in Douala.
In attendance were experts from Global Business Advisory and Services (GBAS), the firm selected to draft out this master plan. Mr. Bienvenu Ngwe Ntot, CNSC’s Technical Adviser No. 2 seized the moment to remind all present of the objectives of the master plan, aimed at aligning CNSC’s public service objectives with economic performance requirements. The consultants have been assigned a roadmap which spans six months and revolves around four main thrusts, namely: start-up report, diagnosis report, the CNSC strategic development framework and the master plan.
The CEO of GBAS, Dr. Mathias Nyeck Nguimbous, introduced his team and thanked the CNSC for trusting him with the project. To conclude, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, CNSC’s General Manager, assured the consultants that they will be provided with a suitable working environment to ensure continuous monitoring of works, while waiting for a workable roadmap to be derived from the master plan.
