On Monday 13 July 2026, the General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, received a delegation from Cameroon Mining Action (CAMINA S.A.), a subsidiary of the Indian multinational JINDAL Steel & Power.
The delegation led by Mr. Anath Chatterjee, Project Director at CAMINA, had come to present their activities, in particular the Ngoyang iron ore mining project, located in Melombo, Bipindi, in the South Region of Cameroon.
The working session was part of efforts to strengthen cooperation ties between the CNSC and CAMINA S.A, a materialisation of CNSC's fervent commitment to being a strategic partner in the facilitation of foreign trade operations in Cameroon.
JINDAL Steel & Power, an Indian multinational specialising in mining and metallurgy, is present in six African countries, including Cameroon, where it has been operating for 16 years.
