Consultations on container transport costs continue at the CNSC

The Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC) has been hosting a series of sectoral consultation meetings with various actors since the beginning of May 2022. The aim is to get shippers and transports to determine the minimum cost of transporting goods.

Today, 19 May 2022, the CNSC Deputy General Manager Mr. Younouss Soungui, chaired the 7th sectoral consultation meeting which focused on the cost of transporting containerised goods. At the end of the meeting, shippers and transporters reached a minimum tariff for transporting containerised goods.

The cash crop, brewing and bulk products sector actors will reconvene next week to conclude their consultations.
