The General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, today, 19 May 2022, welcomed a delegation from the Chadian Shippers' Council (COC- Chad) led by Mr. Djougoune Abdoulaye, its general manager. During the working session, the specific missions of the CNSC and those of its various departments were presented to the guests from Chad.
At the request of the Chadian delegation, projects carried out by the CNSC to improve traffic safety along trade corridors in Cameroon, such as the construction of trucker accommodation centres and the Cameroon Trade Hub (CTH), were presented to the visitors. Note that goods bound for or leaving Chad, a sister country and friend of Cameroon, pass through Cameroon's ports.
In addition, the CNSC expressed its willingness to share its experience with COC-Chad's new management team and promised to provide them with every assistance they may need in terms of expertise. The working session will continue on Monday 23 May 2022 with a tour of CNSC's facilities and offices.
