Among the major attractions at the Douala Maritime Museum (DMM) is the virtual tour booth. This graphical representation of the museum allows visitors to explore its entire collection and exhibitions on an interactive screen.

This innovation is advantageous in several ways, particularly in that it gives visitors the chance to observe details that escape the naked eye. It also gives access to content enriched with expert commentaries, as well as an optimized tour, thereby contributing to a better understanding of the works and themes found in the museum.

Thanks to the 3D visualization and virtual reality technology, this experience enables visitors to deepen their knowledge of Cameroon's maritime history from the colonial era to present-day, along with the current challenges of the maritime sector.

The virtual tour of the Douala Maritime Museum is an attraction visitors regularly solicit, attesting to the public’s growing interest in digital innovations used to valorize our cultural heritage.
