CNSC GM receives a delegation of academics

 

On 12 January 2020, the Conference Hall of the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council plaid host to a meeting bringing together CNSC officials and Directors of the Douala and Strasburg University Institutes of Technology.

 

During the meeting, the Director of the Douala University Institute of Technology, Prof. Jacques Etame, who led the delegation, presented a project to set up a Centre for Training and Technical Studies within the Kribi Port Area. The CNSC delegation led by Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda comprised directors and other close collaborators in charge of training and assistance to shippers.

 

The CNSC welcomes the project as it will go a long way to further the professionalisation of port sector actors. The furtherance of port sector players training will undoubtedly improve the competitiveness of Cameroonian ports.
