CNSC takes part at the 12th edition

The Cameroon National Shippers’ Council is part of the big and famous Central Africa Annual Cross-Border Fair (FOTRAC) which is holding its 12th edition from 19 to 29 August 2021 in Kye-Ossi, where Cameroon shares its boundaries with Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

The event has always brought together entrepreneurs and businesses, state, pan-African and international institutions, associations, NGOs, as well as many visitors from the Central African sub-region and beyond.

This year’s event has mobilised all 11 Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) member states namely Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, the Democratic Republic Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, and Chad, in addition to Senegal.

The theme chosen for this year is: "Boosting intra-regional trade for peace, socio-economic and cultural development in Africa amid COVID-19."

In line with this theme, CNSC will deliver a paper on "The effective presence of the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council at the borders as an important factor for boosting cross-border trade".
