The Central African Annual Cross-border Fair (FOTRAC - 2026), organised by the Reseau des Femme d’Afrique Centrale (REFAC) headed by Mrs. Danielle Nlate was launched during a solemn ceremony, on Friday, 24 July 2024 in Yaounde.  This ceremony was chaired by Trade Minister Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, in the presence of Prof. Marie-Thérèse Abena Ondoa, Minister of Women Empowerment and the Family.

‎Several sub-regional organisations, notably the Economic and Monetary Community of Central African (CEMAC) and the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), are taking part in this year’s edition, which features local partners and foreign businesses.  The Cameroon National Shippers’ Council's (CNSC) participation in this event is marked by the platform provided for local SMEs specialised in the processing of local products, to showcase products “Made in Cameroon”.

‎This edition is taking place under the main theme: "Evaluating the actions of socio-economic cooperation actors to facilitate trade and achieve sustainable development goals in the era of the AfCFTA”. Through this theme, FOTRAC seeks to highlight opportunities for trade and integration within CEMAC and promote cross-border trade.   

‎Close to 100 SMEs from Central and West African countries such as Gabon, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Congo, Central African Republic, Burundi, Cote d’Ivoire and Senegal are in attendance, showcasing their know-how in the processing of local products from the agriculture, livestock breeding, fishfarming and textile sectors.  Items on this year’s programme include themed debates, B2B meetings, experience-sharing, as well as cultural and artistic activities, planned to run till the event closes its doors on 31 July 2026.
