The International Trade Commission newly created by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) regional office in Cameroon convened today, May 25, at the head-office of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC).
The meeting, presided over by CNSC's General Manager, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, was attended by Dr. Louis Eboupeke, General Manager of the National Ports Authority (NPA), senior officials of public and private companies, as well as representatives of professional associations. Delighted by the turnout, CNSC's General Manager in his opening remarks expressed his desire to see the commission come up with concrete recommendations that will constitute ICC Cameroon's action plan, and which could be integrated into the programme of activities assigned to commissions such as the “Trade Law and Practices Commission” or the “Customs and Trade Facilitation Commission”.
