Ahead of the upcoming celebration of International Labour Day, the Sports and Cultural Association of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) organised a series of sports activities over the weekend.

 

CSNS staff working in Douala and in CNSC regional offices across Cameroon, including those in Yaoundé, Limbe, Kribi, Garoua, Kousseri and Ngoulentang, took part in a series of sporting activities, notably a fitness walk.

 

On 27 April 2025, the Bepanda Annex Reunification stadium in Douala was the arena for a soccer match presided over by Mr. Younousss Soungui, Deputy General Manager, representing the General Manager of the CNSC, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda. This encounter was witnessed by a host of CNSC staff present in the stands.

 

After 90 minutes of play, the soccer match between “Old3 and New recruits at the CNSC ended in a tie, with two goals apiece. Following the penalty shoot-out, the “New recruits”, led by their captain Carel Mibatke, came out on top, 4 goals to 2.

 

To mark the end of the 2025 edition of the GM's Tournament”, winners and losers received medals and trophies in recognition of their efforts.
