A business forum dubbed “BIASHARA AFRIKA 2024” is being organised in Kigali from 9 to 11 October 2024 on the theme "Dare to invent the future of the AfCFTA”. A joint initiative of the AfCFTA (African Continental Free Trade Area) Secretariat and the Government of Rwanda, the forum offers a dynamic platform for discussions between Africa's public and private sectors, multinationals, and key players of the continent's economy.
The Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), whose General Manager, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, currently chairs the Ad hoc Sub-Committee charged with implementing the AfCFTA Guided Trade Initiative in Cameroon, is taking part in this event alongside Cameroonian businesses specialised in the production of tea and biodegradable packaging.
Participants hope to seize the opportunities offered by the development of regional and continental value chains, to better equip Cameroon’s economy with the necessary tools that will enable the intra-African market to roll out its full potential.
