CNSC at the forefront of trade facilitation.
The Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) together with other public and private institutions participated on Tuesday 18 January 2022 in the opening ceremony of the maiden edition of the "African Business Week" under the theme "Synergy of African know-how at the service of the African Continental Free Trade Area".
Mr. Luc Magloire Atangana, Cameroon’s Minister of Trade, presided over the opening ceremony flanked by the Minister of Arts and Culture, Mr. Pierre Bidoung Kpwatt, the Minister of Industry, Mines and Technological Development, Mr. Gabriel Dodo Ndoke, and the Minister of Youth and Civic Education, Mr. Mounouna Foutsou.
CNSC's Deputy General Manager, Mr. Younouss Soungui, welcomed these ministers at CNSC’s exhibition stand where they were briefed on some of the missions and achievements of the CNSC; a key player in the promotion of international trade in Cameroon.
This grand African economic and trade expo was jointly sponsored by the Minister of Sport and Physical Education and the Minister of Trade, Mr. Luc Magloire Atangana, who doubles as the Chairperson of the National Committee of the African Continental Free Trade Area.
In his opening remarks, the Minister of Trade urged Professor Justine Diffo, the main organizer of this brilliant project, to dedicate discussions during the week's activities on how to guarantee the success and sustainability of such a huge trade event for Africa.
"I solemnly declare open the first edition of the African Business Week", trade minister Luc Magloire Atangana concluded.
