CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The 9th edition of the International Single Window Conference took place on 25 and 26 September 2023 in the Republic of Djibouti under the theme "ACCELERATE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SINGLE WINDOW WITH THE LATEST TECHNOLOGIES FOR TRADE FACILITATION AND SMART LOGISTICS".

Each year, this event welcomes participants from different regions of the world, including those with experience in the field, those wishing to set up their own single window solutions, organisations supporting the implementation of single windows, and international experts.

The Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) was represented by Mr. Koum Claude Cyriac, Head of the Information Systems Department, who was part of the panel discussing "Challenges and trends in digitizing the multi-modal supply chain".

He shared the CNSC's experience and outlined some of the challenges faced by the various actors along transport corridors. His presentation led to one of the Conference's key recommendations: To develop and harmonize international standards and protocols to facilitate the interoperability of the various systems and platforms involved in trade facilitation, in order to support the implementation of regional and international agreements.
