The Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) is currently taking part in the 48th session of the International Maritime Organisation's Facilitation Committee (FAL 48) meeting in London, United Kingdom.
The CNSC is being represented at this meeting by Mr. Fernand Douglas Nolga, CNSC Director for Trade Facilitation and Transport Observatory, and Mr. Elvis Tsaguim Donfack, CNSC Director of Operations.
Also known as a committee that advocates for the simplification of customs procedures, the IMO's Facilitation Committee (FAL) deals with matters related to the facilitation of international maritime traffic, including the arrival, stay and departure of ships, persons and cargo from ports. It aims to ensure that the right balance is struck between regulation and the facilitation of international maritime trade.
