CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) has put in place a strategy to support the modernisation of logistics, industry and professionalisation of Cameroonian businesses. It was within the framework of its implementation that the institution took part in the 12th edition of the SENEPACK, SENEFOOD & SENAGRO trade fair, held from 19 to 21 June 2025 in Dakar, Republic of Senegal.

This international trade fair, known to be a leading event for packaging, agri-food processing and related services in West Africa, brought together exhibitors and visitors from Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The 2025 edition was officially opened by Senegal's Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Serigne Guèye Diop.

The main objective of CNSC's presence in Dakar was to identify innovative packaging solutions adapted to the realities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Cameroon, an approach that resonates with its mission to promote exports and improve the local supply chain. The CNSC delegation to Dakar comprised Mrs. Solange Nya Ndomkeu (Service Head for Foreign Trade Operations Monitoring), Mrs. Tatiana Noutam Poke (Ass. Service Head for Import Assistance), and Mr. Yves Gros (Ass. Service Head for Export Assistance).

The team seized the opportunity to hold technical meetings with exhibitors specialising in the sale of agricultural product processing and agri-food packaging machinery. Some businesses expressed keen interest in the Cameroonian market and their willingness to collaborate with the CNSC, notably through medium-term partnership initiatives.

CNSC's participation in this event is entirely in phase with its vision to boost the competitiveness of Cameroonian companies, especially through the integration of innovative solutions, the development of international partnerships, and the monitoring of technological advancements.
