SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

Today, 21 October 2022, the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) organised a training workshop on "Trade Facilitation at the Abang Minko'o Border Post". The training session took place in Abang Minko'o, at a place called "World Market".

Mainly targeting the business community of Abang Minko'o, this training session seeks to make traders to better understand the missions of state institutions at the border and to further enlighten them on the procedures applicable to cross-border trade operations.

Coordinated by Mrs. Takouchop Onana, Director of Assistance to Shippers, several public institutions including MENEPIA, MINCOMMERCE, MINADER, Cameroon Customs, the National Gendarmerie, Ambam City Council and the CNSC presented their missions at this border post to the participants.

The huge audience had the opportunity to ask questions after the presentations. This question-and-answer session concluded the training session in the tri-border town of Abang Minko'o.

Next stop is Kye-ossi where a similar session will be held tomorrow, 22 October 2022, for the business community of this other town of the Ntem Valley Division.
