The Deputy General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), Mr. Younouss Soungui, launched the training seminar organised in the CNSC training hall today, 29 January 2025, to enlighten sector actors on “Provisions of the 2025 Finance Law on tax and customs requirements relating to foreign trade operations in Cameroon".
The seminar which brought together some 150 business persons and shippers featured three key presentations: The new ECTN issuance application (BESC 3.0); Procedures to verify the conformity of goods imported into Cameroon; and 2025 tax measures.
Another session has been scheduled on 30 January 2025, with presentations to be delivered by officials from the Cameroon Customs Department and SGS.
