The South Regional Office of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNCC) hosted a training session on the new Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN) issuance application, dubbed BESC 3.0, from 20 to 21 February 2025.
This training session was organised at the request of shippers using the port of Kribi for their operations. Many of them, along with forwarding agents, customs brokers and other foreign trade professionals who took part in the training session had been experiencing enormous difficulties using the new application launched on 3 January 2025.
Presentations delivered by Mr. Claude Koum and Mr. Elvis Tsaguim, respectively Head of the Information Systems Division and Director of Operations at the CNSC, illustrated the functioning, innovations and advantages of the new version of the application.
To ensure the continuity of this training for Kribi-based shippers, a capacity-building session was also organised for staff working at the CNSC South Regional Office.
