SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

On 6 December 2024, the Douala Maritime Museum received two members of the Government and former Brazilian football stars, there to unwind after the launch ceremony of the International Banana-Plantain Festival.

 

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Gabriel Mbairobe, in his capacity as Personal Representative of the President of the Republic, was accompanied to the Maritime Museum by the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Mr. Gregoire Owona, and Mr. Tony OBAM, President of the Cameroon National Association of Actors of the Banana-Plantain Sector.

 

The visit was guided by the General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNCC), Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, who presented the new attractions of the Douala Maritime Museum to his guests. 
The Storm Room and Navigation Simulator were experimented by the visitors, who congratulated the CNSC on its contribution to Cameroon's development.

 

As for the Brazilian delegation, they were impressed by the “soul makossa man” exhibition, which offers a photo reportage of the career of international music legend, saxophonist Manu Dibango.
