On 24 November, the Conference Hall of the Douala Maritime Museum hosted a ceremony to hand over equipment to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) of the Agri-food industry in the city of Douala.
This is within the framework of the strategic partnership developed between the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) and the SME Promotion Agency (APME), for the efficient support of business persons.
Entrepreneurs of 150 SMEs received kits containing scales, refractometers, alcoholometers, weighing machines and a range of other equipment, which will help them to improve the quality of their products, grow their businesses and eventually export their products in the near future.
The ceremony presided by Mr. Jean-Marie Louis Badga, General Manager of the SME Promotion Agency, was equally attended by a representative of the Governor of the Littoral Region, the Regional Delegates for Communication and MINPMEESA, as well as Mrs. Claire Onana Takouchop, CNSC Director of Shippers’ Assistance to shippers.
Mr. Jean-Marie Louis used the occasion to visit the Douala Maritime Museum to discover its exhibitions.
