CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) is amongst the 800 companies present at the 9th edition of the International Exhibition for Enterprises, SMEs, and Partnerships (PROMOTE 2024), launched since 17 February 2024 at the Yaoundé Conference Centre.

The official opening ceremony of this year's edition with theme "Private sector, evolution and structural transformation of Africa’s economies", took place on 19 February. The ceremony was presided over by Cameroon's Trade Minister, Mr. Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, representative of the Prime Minister and Head of Government, who was accompanied by a host of State personalities.

CNSC's delegation to PROMOTE this year was led by its Deputy General Manager, Mr. Younousss Soungui.

In resonance with the opening speech of the Minister of Trade, several speakers at the ceremony focused on efforts to counter economic slowdown and the gradual recovery of Cameroon's trade balance.

During this trade fair, the CNSC exhibition stand will host a series of "Thematic Workshop Days" on Cameroon's business relations and trade promotion initiatives. These workshops are in line with the CNSC's missions of providing assistance to the local business community and promoting Cameroon's foreign trade.
