On 14 November 2023, representatives of the African Export-Import Bank met with Cameroonian companies sponsored by the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC) to participate in the 2023 Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) taking place in Cairo, Egypt.
The working session, coordinated by Mrs. Claire Takouchop, CNSC's Director for Shippers' Assistance, provided participants with information on the bank's one-stop digital services, designed to facilitate the import-export operations of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). Participants at this session were given more information about the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS), an effective payment solution for intra-African trade operations.
Registration on the MANSA digital platform offers, among other things, access to business information on investment in Africa, country profiles, as well as products and services traded by African countries. Discussions also dwelled on the TRADAR Club, a network through which businesses and investors from around the world can access curated intelligence to transform trade and investment in Africa.
