CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC) hereby informs the general public, and particularly companies that submitted bids in response to the Call for Expression of Interest No. 004/CNCC S.A/DG/CCGM/2026 of 23 March 2026, that the assessment phase is closed.

Following a thorough review of offers submitted by OCÉAN PETROLEUM, PETROLEX, GULFCAM, NEPTUNE OIL, MRS and TRADEX, and in compliance with the selection criteria provided for in the call (technical and financial resources, experience in the petroleum sector, business plan and consideration of CNCS’s objectives in modernising the Trucker Accommodation Centres), TRADEX was selected as partner.

TRADEX was selected because it submitted the best overall proposal, which combines:

  • An efficient technical solution that meets environmental standards;
  • A balanced economic model that guarantees sustainable benefits for the CNSC;
  • Proven expertise in the operation of filling stations along Cameroon’s road corridors.

The General Manager thanks the other five (5) companies which showed interest, namely:  OCÉAN PETROLEUM, PETROLEX, GULFCAM, NEPTUNE OIL and MRS, for their proposals and the interest expressed in this project, whose impact is nationwide.  Their commitment proves the viability of the private oil sector in Cameroon.

The CNSC reserves the right to involve some of the unsuccessful bidders at a later stage of the project or on other sites, should additional needs arise or future extensions be required.

This release marks the official commitment of CNSC’s management to proceed with the signing of the partnership agreement with TRADEX at the earliest opportunity.
