CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The Cameroon National Shippers' Council hereby informs business persons that, in accordance with the press release issued by the Minister of Finance on 4 August 2025, the 10th phase of the tariff dismantling process under the Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs) between Cameroon, the European Union and the United Kingdom is now in force.

Goods originating from the European Union and the United Kingdom eligible for this preferential trade regime will be subject to the following tariff dismantling rates:

100% exemption for products in Group 1 (e.g. pharmaceuticals, fertilisers, gas, pesticides, etc.);

100% exemption for products in Group 2 (e.g. wheelbarrows, cargo transport vehicles, generators, etc.);

60% exemption for products in Group 3, also known as high tax yield products (e.g. passenger vehicles, fuels, cement, television sets, cereals, etc.).

A detailed list of the goods concerned is available on the official websites of the Ministry of Finance (www.minfi.gov.cm) and the Directorate General of Customs (www.douanes.cm).
