CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

Staff representatives and the CNSC Ladies Association of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) organised an awareness-raising session for staff against breast and cervical cancer today, 27 October 2023.

The session was facilitated by medical doctors and health specialists including Dr. Ernest Fogang, Gynaecologist; Miss Flore Moffo, Midwife; Miss Stéphanie Yeungang, Healthcare Director; and Mr. Charlemagne Manga, Marketing and Communication Manager.

Their presentations to CNSC staff focused on the causes, statistics, symptoms and prevention methods of these diseases which are a major threat to human health and have claimed millions of lives around the world.

The "Question and Answer" session was an opportunity to dispel any misconceptions. The highly instructive event ended with free breast and cervical cancer screening sessions.

As part of the CNSC's “Pink October” campaign against breast cancer, a sports walk is planned for 28 October 2023 at “Parcours Vita” in Douala.
