The Cameroon National Shippers' Council - CNSC which is the host company of the Union of African Shippers’ Councils, is taking part in the 2026 edition of The International Symposium on Transport and Logistics in Africa - TRANSLOG Africa that is ongoing in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
During this event, CNSC’s Director of Trade Facilitation and Transport Observatory Mr Fernand Nolga edified participants on Cameroon’s commitment to reduce the time and cost of foreign trade procedures through its digitalisation process. This he says will also improve on the working conditions of road transporters in the country.
Speaking, Mr Nolga outlined the legal framework towards attaining the set objectives, such as the creation of the One Stop Shop, data sharing agreements and the development of trade facilitation infrastructure along Cameroon’s main road corridors.
Through its expertise, the CNSC enables an easier transit of goods through the major Douala/Kribi - Bangui and Douala/Kribi - N’Djamena corridors to Chad and the Central African Republic.
