The Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) put its expertise to good use at the 4th edition of a major discussion and networking event targeting female entrepreneurs. The session was organised in Yaoundé by the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts (MINPMEESA).
On the discussion panel held on 28 May 2025, CNSC's Sub-Director for Trade Facilitation, Mrs Aïcha Maliki, presented the various modalities and facilities for businesses to access the One Market created by the AfCFTA.
Mrs Aicha Maliki's presentation gave an overview of Cameroon's imports and exports under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) regime, and went on to outline the procedures and conditions required to benefit from the advantages of this preferential regime.
The participants, mainly SME promoters, learned about the importance of packaging, participation in international trade fairs, the use of digital platforms and market research at a continental level, in the search for opportunities to trade under the AfCFTA.
