Today, 26 September 2023, the General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC), Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, was accompanied by the Senior Divisional Officer for the Logone and Chari Division, Mr. Mathias Tayem Fombele, on an inspection visit at the newly constructed CNSC trucker facility located in the Ngueli neighbourhood of Kousseri.
The main purpose of today's visit was to ensure that all was set for the official inauguration ceremony of the CNSC Far North Regional Office and Kousseri Trucker Accommodation Centre, constructed on 5 hectares of land. The event will be attended by administrative authorities, shippers, and business persons from Cameroon and the Republic of Chad.
Among other amenities, the office space, parking lot and lodging facility are now ready to host road transporters. Last-minute technical and protocol adjustments have been made to ensure the ceremony is a success. This achievement marks the start of a new era for foreign trade activities in Kousseri.
