SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

Today, 30 January 2023, the Yaounde Conference Centre hosted the ceremony for the presentation of New Year wishes to the Minister of Transport, Mr. Jean Ernest Ngalle Bibehe Massena and the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Transport, Mr. NJOYA ZAKARIAOU.

 

The ceremony was attended by many public and private companies, trade unions and socio-professional associations in the transport sector. Among them was the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) whose delegation was led by its General Manager, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda. The event was punctuated by cultural animations from different parts of Cameroon.

 

Presenting the achievements of the Ministry of Transport (MINT) for the year 2022, H.R.H. Mveimani Sombo Amba, Secretary General of the Ministry of Transport, noted the construction of a third trucker accommodation centre by the CNSC in Ngoulentang, Centre Region of Cameroon. This infrastructure falls in line with the vast program for the construction of trade facilitation infrastructures throughout the national territory.

 

Speaking at the event, the Minister of Transport expressed his appreciation to all his collaborators for the favourable results obtained while calling on the various companies present to double their efforts so as to make the Ministry of Transport a real catalyst for Cameroon's economic and social development in the year 2023.
