Today June 1, 2022, business persons, shippers and transporters dealing in bulk products once again met at the CNSC under the chairmanship of Mr. Younouss Soungui, CNSC's Deputy General Manager.
This second meeting at the CNSC, following that of 17 May, sought to draw conclusions on the minimum applicable rate for the transportation of bulk products such as bitumen, cement, lubricants and gas, within the country.
After further fruitful discussions coupled with their determination, the parties finally reached an agreement on the minimum rate for the transportation of these products within the country.
Having failed to reach an agreement on the subject at a previous meeting held on 17 May 2022, shippers and transporters had decided to reconverge on 1 June 2022 determined to strike a balance, after having obtained more concrete information.
