With a growing trend of investment relations between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Cameroon, various initiatives to bring in more investments from the UAE have been launched. One of such initiatives is the business forum dubbed “Cameroon Investment Week” and organised by Cameroon’s Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) under the theme ‘‘Invest in Cameroon, Land of Opportunities’’. The event will take place from 13 to 15 December 2022 at the Jafza 1 Convention Centre - Dubai.

The forum brings together high government dignitaries, CEOs of private firms and leading Civil Society icons from both Cameroon and United Arab Emirates for a presentation of investment opportunities in Cameroon to United Arab Emirates investors. The main objective is to showcase the attractiveness of Cameroon and to reinforce economic ties between both nations. Moreover, the forum will offer a unique platform for the promotion of B2B, B2G and G2G partnerships between the governments of Cameroon and the United Arab Emirates.

Known to be one of the most resilient and diversified economies in Africa, Cameroon’s open economic policy encourages investments. With a growing private sector now considered to be the backbone of economic growth, the Cameroonian government looks forward to an increased exchange and partnership with the outside world to boost activities in its private sector.
