Today, 17 February 2025, some 30 Canadians, a number of them originally from African countries, visited the exhibitions at the Douala Maritime Museum. They were accompanied by Francis Aimé Essebou, a Cameroonian national and Managing Director of Carrefour Nunavut, a Canadian organisation dedicated to immigration issues in Canada.
The team is in Cameroon is explore opportunities for collaboration between the two countries, which have both French and English as official languages.
The Douala Maritime Museum was their first stop in Cameroon. The Museum's visitors were delighted to explore the different exhibitions, discovering Cameroon's rich and fascinating maritime history.
