The 39th edition of the International Women's Rights Day took place on Friday 08 March under the theme: "Investing in women: accelerate progress".
In Cameroon, the celebration was marked by a traditional parade. Ladies from the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) joined thousands of women who came to take part in the parade along the Besseke boulevard, applauded by the Governor of the Littoral Region and many other administrative authorities.
After the parade, CNSC's Management invited the ladies to a family meal, an opportunity for them to pay their respects to deceased colleagues. The General Manager, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, seized the occasion to congratulate CNSC’s ladies on their commitment to achieving the institution's objectives.
