The Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) joined in celebrating the 5th edition of Women Entrepreneurship Day (WED) in Yaoundé from 21 to 22 November 2024, on the theme “Women Entrepreneurs: Overcoming Financial Challenges for Entrepreneurial Success”.
Hosted by CAWEECO (Career-Advanced Women Entrepreneurship Champions Organisation), the event was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts (MINPMEESA) under the chairmanship of Minister Achille Bassilekin III.
This event aimed at presenting the financial problems faced by female entrepreneurs and raising awareness about the strategies and tools needed to overcome such challenges. Particular emphasis was also placed on networking and digitalization.
The CNSC was represented at this celebration by Mr. Owono Bob Philippe Olivier, CNSC's Centre Regional Branch Manager, who was accompanied by Mrs. Assomo Eugénie Michelle, Assistant Service Head for Operations, and Mr. Atangana Roger Noël, a staff at the CNSC Yaoundé Branch.
