CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

Meeting in Yaoundé for its 3rd ordinary session on 13 January 2026, the Board of Directors of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council PLC (CNSC PLC) approved appointments proposed by the company's senior management. Following this important event marking a milestone in the history of the CNSC, the Douala Maritime Museum hosted the official installation ceremony of the 42 new appointees on 20 January 2026.

The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, CNSC's General Manager, in the presence of the company's staff and guests. This deployment marks a decisive step in the transition of the CNSC from a Public Administrative Establishment (EPA) to a business corporation. This change was orchestrated by the publication of the Decree of 16 July 2025 on the transformation and reorganisation of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council.

In his speech, the General Manager emphasised that this new status is a call to consciousness and responsibility. The top management has established a results-oriented culture where collective action will take precedence over individual monitoring for a more competitive CNSC PLC, and to better promote Cameroon's foreign trade.
