In the continuing effort to promote Cameroon as an investment destination for business in the Kingdom of Morocco, the Cameroonian delegation, led by the Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency (IPA), Mr. Donatus Boma, held a series of business meetings on 25 December 2025 with major institutions and players of the Moroccan investment industry.
The delegation's first stop was the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency (AMDIE), where it was welcomed by Mr. Yassine El Ahyank, Head of the Emerging Industries Department, assisted by Mrs. Loubna Alqoh, Director of Agribusiness Development. Various interventions on the occasion highlighted key levers for increased future trade relations between Cameroon and Morocco.
The Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), represented by Mrs. Claire Onana Takouchop and Mrs. Aïcha Maliki, respectively Director for Shippers' Assistance and Sub-Director for Trade Facilitation, highlighted facilities that could strengthen bilateral trade cooperation, notably Cameroon's accession to the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), the availability of reliable statistical data sourced from CNSC's Electronic Cargo Tracking Notes (ECTNs), and the assistance and training programs offered to business persons.
The day ended with a visit to the Fez-Meknes Regional Investment Center, located in the city of Fez.
