The Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC) was present at the 5th Session of the Cameroon-Senegal Joint Cooperation Commission organised in Yaoundé from 31 July to 1st August 2025, under the co-chairmanship of the ministers in charge of external relations in both countries.
CNSC’s delegation to Yaounde comprised Mr. Fernand Douglas Nolga, Director for Trade Facilitation and Transports Observatory, who was assisted by Mr. Thierry Mebara, Service Head for International Cooperation.
The institution actively participated in the working sessions of specific subcommittees, particularly that which discussed economic and trade issues.
This session helped strengthen the existing bilateral cooperation between Cameroon and Senegal in strategic areas such as trade, logistics, exchange of technical know-how, and connectivity between the two countries.
The final minutes of the session were read and signed at the end of deliberations, thus endorsing commitments made and prospects for implementation.
