CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The head office Cameroon’s Cotton Development Corporation (SODECOTON) was the venue of an important working session on 9 May 2024 between the General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, and his counterpart from SODECOTON, Mr. Mohamadou Bayero.

 

CNSC's General Manager was accompanied by some of his closest collaborators. Amongst whom the Director for Shippers’ Assistance Mrs. Claire Onana, the Sub-Director for Operations Mrs. Rahimatou Bello, the Sub-Director for Trade Facilitation Mrs. Aïcha Maliki, and the Head of the Communication Unit Mr. Luc Ndob. On the other side of the table was SODECOTON’s General Manager Mr. Mohamadou Bayero, who was flanked by the DCOM/SDCC, Mr. Mohaman Belo, the DAG/SDCC, Mr. Fernand Sadou, and the SDJA, Mr. Aoudou, to name but a few.

 

After the usual courtesies, the two institutions exchanged views on their respective missions and prospects for better collaboration. SODECOTON has consistently responded favourably to CNSC training offers and makes regular use of CNSC warehouses in Kribi to store its produce.
