CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

Today, 13 March 2025, female staff of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), better known as “CNSC Ladies”, paid a courtesy visit to the Garoua Regional Delegation for Women's Empowerment and the Family. The visit enabled them to meet and discuss with widows, women who have been victims of violence and even those in need. It is an initiative that falls in line the CNSC Ladies' outreach programme following the celebration of International Women's Day on 8 March.

The CNSC delegation was led by Mrs. Claire Onana Takouchop, personal representative of CNSC's General Manager, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda. She was assisted by the President of CNSC Ladies, Mrs. Nkama Stella, and other female staff of the establishment.

Mrs. Abdoulaye Amoa Awouda Solange, Regional Delegate for Women's Empowerment and the Family, hailed this remarkable initiative by the CNSC in the interests of women.

On behalf of CNSC's General Manager, the Ladies handed over foodstuffs and other basic necessities, along with messages of sympathy, solidarity and encouragement to the beneficiaries.

The women in turn expressed their gratitude and the wish to see the CNSC multiply such gestures to their benefit in the future.
